This was shot around the holidays in small-town Texas. Dorothy Channing recommended a place that is full of country flavor, Louie Mueller Barbecue. If you have never experienced Texas barbecue, I highly recommend you put it on your bucket list. But always, always ask locals where to go. There are plenty of lackluster places in this big state as well. I don_t know if it was the slow-cooked meats, the authentic setting, or Ms. Channing, but I now find myself rethinking city life.

I took Jodie Taylor out to the Orange Grove Pond at the Cal State Northridge campus. It was a beautiful Spring day. Perhaps the oranges didn_t look so hot, but we weren_t there for them anyways. We wanted a nearby outdoor location where Jodi could just be Jodi in her recently-made cut-off jean shorts. I was distracted by the light, nature, turtles, and pretty Jodi, I nearly got a parking ticket for letting my meter expire. But somehow, the gods were smiling on me that day and I managed to talk the lovely lady, who was at my car when we returned, out of issuing me the citation. I learned on this afternoon how to use religious holidays in my favor.

Megan Salinas seemed as if she was going to kill me for putting her in this outfit. I don_t blame her. Even though it was technically the Winter, the Sun was giving up a good show that day. We were in the Valley, so I wasn_t surprised. Despite some complaining, Megan toughed it out for a few minutes and momentarily fulfilled my old Catholic private school fantasies. Yes, I attended such an institution for the greater part of my childhood. No, I was not fondled by a devout priest. In those days, unflattering uniforms were the norm. But as my classmates and I got older, the skirts got shorter and the blouses less able to hide the fleshy gems that developed underneath. Yes, Megan, outfits like this can suck, but be thankful you only had to wear it for 20 minutes and not 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Aubrey Snow is captured here in her natural habitat, sort of. She recently relocated from Northern California to Phoenix with some close friends. It quickly became apparent that Aubrey is very comfortable at home in casual wear. She demonstrates her flexy glute trick, not quite sure what else to call it, for the video camera. Turns out Aubrey learned the move when she was 16 and caught other girls doing it on YouTube. She explained that it is not a good idea to do the flexing for long, otherwise you will get a cramp. The song in the bonus video is Hypnotize U by N.E.R.D.
